Shipping Policy

Last updated: 13 Sep 2026

This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed with LITTLE BEES (PTY) LTD, registration number 2026/731859/07, through littlebees.co.za.

This policy explains our estimated delivery timeframes, delivery process and how delays, incorrect addresses, unsuccessful deliveries, and missing or damaged parcels are handled.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights available to customers under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, or any other applicable South African law.

1. Delivery Area

Little Bees currently delivers to physical addresses within South Africa.

Customers must provide a complete physical delivery address where someone will be reasonably available to receive the parcel.

We may be unable to deliver to PO boxes, private bags, restricted locations or certain remote areas.

If we cannot deliver to the address provided, we will contact the customer to discuss an alternative arrangement.

2. Imported Products

Products sold by Little Bees may be sourced internationally and imported into South Africa after a customer places an order.

This means that certain products may not be held as local stock at the time of purchase.

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that the product may need to be sourced from an international supplier and transported to South Africa before final delivery.

The fact that a product is imported does not limit any rights or remedies available to the customer under applicable South African law.

3. Estimated Delivery Timeframe

Orders are delivered using Aramex Store-to-Door, with an estimated delivery timeframe of 8–11 business days from the date on which:

  • The customer’s order has been successfully placed;

  • Full payment has been received and confirmed; and

  • Little Bees has accepted the order.

Business days are Monday to Friday and exclude South African public holidays.

Orders placed after business hours, over weekends or on public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

The 8–11 business-day timeframe is an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery date unless Little Bees expressly confirms a guaranteed date in writing.

Delivery to remote or outlying areas may take longer. Delays may also occur because of customs clearance, international transport, supplier delays or other circumstances outside the reasonable control of Little Bees.

4. Aramex Store-to-Door Delivery

Little Bees uses the Aramex Store-to-Door service to deliver customer orders to the physical delivery address provided during checkout.

Once an order has been dispatched and tracking information becomes available, the customer will receive a tracking number by email, SMS or another available communication method.

The customer may use this tracking number to monitor the parcel through the Aramex tracking service. Tracking information may take some time to update after the parcel has been collected or processed.

The customer must provide a complete and accurate physical delivery address and ensure that someone is reasonably available to receive the parcel.

Although Aramex performs the delivery, customers should contact Little Bees if they experience a problem with their order. Little Bees will communicate with Aramex where reasonably necessary to investigate and resolve the matter.

Little Bees may use another reputable delivery provider where reasonably necessary. If this occurs, the customer will be informed, and the change will not affect the customer’s statutory rights.

5. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges will be displayed during checkout before the customer completes the order.

Delivery charges may depend on:

  • The delivery location;

  • The size or weight of the parcel;

  • The products ordered;

  • Applicable promotions; and

  • Any special delivery requirements disclosed before checkout.

Customers will not be held responsible for additional compulsory delivery or import charges that were not adequately disclosed before the order was completed.

6. Delivery Address and Contact Information

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information, including:

  • The recipient’s full name;

  • A valid physical delivery address;

  • The correct suburb, city and postal code;

  • A working contact number; and

  • Any access information reasonably required for delivery.

Customers must check these details carefully before submitting an order.

If the delivery information is incorrect or incomplete, the customer should contact Little Bees immediately. We cannot guarantee that delivery information can be changed after an order has been processed or dispatched.

Little Bees will not be responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

If a parcel must be redirected or delivered again because of incorrect information provided by the customer, the customer may be responsible for the reasonable additional delivery cost.

7. Delivery Attempts

The customer must ensure that someone is reasonably available to receive the parcel at the delivery address.

Aramex may contact the customer using the telephone number supplied with the order.

If delivery cannot be completed because:

  • No one is available to receive the parcel;

  • Access to the property is unavailable;

  • The delivery address is incorrect or incomplete;

  • The recipient refuses the parcel without a lawful reason; or

  • The courier cannot contact the customer,

the parcel may be held, redirected or returned in accordance with the courier’s procedures.

The customer may be responsible for reasonable redelivery or return costs where the unsuccessful delivery was caused by incorrect information or circumstances within the customer’s control.

Little Bees will not impose additional charges where the unsuccessful delivery was caused by Little Bees or Aramex.

8. Delivery Delays

Because products may be sourced internationally, delays can occasionally occur due to circumstances outside the reasonable control of Little Bees.

These may include:

  • International supplier or manufacturing delays;

  • Flight, freight or courier disruptions;

  • Customs inspections or customs-clearance delays;

  • Port or airport congestion;

  • Strikes or industrial action;

  • Severe weather or natural disasters;

  • Changes to import requirements;

  • Transport interruptions;

  • Civil unrest or government action;

  • Peak trading periods; and

  • Other unforeseen supply-chain disruptions.

Little Bees will take reasonable steps to monitor affected orders, keep customers informed of significant delays and complete delivery as soon as reasonably possible.

To the extent permitted by law, Little Bees will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

This does not remove any right the customer may have to cancel an order or receive another remedy if delivery cannot take place within the agreed or a reasonable period.

9. Orders Required by a Specific Date

Customers should place orders well in advance if a product is required for a birthday, holiday, celebration or another specific event.

The estimated 8–11 business-day delivery period does not constitute a guarantee that an order will arrive before a particular event or date.

Little Bees will not be responsible for loss arising solely because an order does not arrive before an event date that was not expressly accepted by Little Bees as a guaranteed delivery date.

10. Separate Deliveries

Where an order contains multiple products, Little Bees may deliver the products separately if they become available at different times.

Where reasonably possible, the customer will be informed if an order will be split into separate deliveries.

The customer will not be charged an additional delivery fee merely because Little Bees chooses to split an order, unless the customer requests a separate or expedited delivery arrangement and agrees to the additional cost.

11. Tracking Showing Delivered

If Aramex tracking shows that a parcel has been delivered but the customer cannot locate it, the customer should:

  • Check with other members of the household or workplace;

  • Check any reception, security desk or designated delivery area;

  • Confirm that the delivery address supplied was correct; and

  • Contact Little Bees as soon as possible.

Little Bees will request available delivery information from Aramex and assist the customer in investigating the matter.

A delivered tracking status will not prevent Little Bees from reasonably investigating a genuine report of non-delivery.

12. Missing or Lost Parcels

If a parcel does not arrive within the estimated timeframe, the customer should contact Little Bees.

Little Bees will investigate the shipment with Aramex. The time required for Aramex to complete an investigation may vary depending on the circumstances.

If a parcel is confirmed as lost, Little Bees will provide the appropriate remedy required under applicable law. This may include a replacement, where available, or a refund.

The customer will not be required to resolve a courier claim directly with Aramex where Little Bees arranged the delivery.

13. Products Damaged During Delivery

Customers should inspect their parcel and products as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If a parcel or product arrives damaged, the customer should contact Little Bees promptly and provide:

  • Their order number;

  • A description of the damage;

  • Clear photographs or a video of the damaged product;

  • Photographs of the outer and inner packaging; and

  • A photograph of the courier label, where available.

Customers should retain the product and packaging while the matter is assessed.

The photographs and packaging assist Little Bees in investigating the damage with Aramex. These requirements will not be used to remove or restrict any statutory rights available to the customer.

Damaged products will be handled in accordance with the Little Bees Return and Refund Policy and applicable South African law.

14. Ownership and Risk

Little Bees remains responsible for the product while it is being delivered to the customer, to the extent required by applicable South African law.

Risk will not pass to the customer earlier than permitted by law.

If the customer appoints an independent courier or collection agent without an arrangement made by Little Bees, responsibility for the product may pass in accordance with applicable law once it is collected by the customer’s appointed party.

15. Order Cancellations

Customers who wish to request cancellation of an order should contact Little Bees as soon as possible.

Little Bees cannot guarantee that an order can be cancelled once it has been processed, committed to an international supplier or dispatched.

Any cancellation request will be handled in accordance with the Little Bees Return and Refund Policy and the customer’s rights under applicable South African law.

16. Undeliverable or Returned Parcels

If a parcel is returned to Little Bees because:

  • The address provided was incorrect or incomplete;

  • Delivery was repeatedly unsuccessful;

  • The customer could not be contacted;

  • The parcel was refused without a lawful reason; or

  • The parcel was not collected where collection was arranged,

Little Bees will contact the customer to discuss redelivery.

The customer may be responsible for reasonable return and redelivery costs where the return was caused by circumstances within the customer’s control.

If the customer does not respond within [insert number] days after Little Bees contacts them, the order will be handled in accordance with applicable law. Little Bees may deduct reasonable costs actually incurred where permitted by law.
